Having graduated from McGill University in Jazz Performance, Antoni Carlone is presently a freelance musician and music teacher. Versatile in many styles of music, he has performed with artists such as Michel Louvain, Paolo Ramos, Patrick Bernhardt and, very recently, Gino Quilico. His passion for jazz music started at a very early age with a keen interest in improvisation. This led him to complete a CD called “The Heart of Oneness” in 2003 consisting of all improvised music. Today he continues to explore this avenue in jazz as well as in relaxation music

With a love for ensemble music, she has sung with several professional Quebec choirs and performed as a soloist in numerous productions.

One of her more recent projects, “Bachtotango”, produced in collaboration with Quartango and presented at festivals in Orford (2005), Lanaudière (2006) and at the Domaine Forget (2007), earned an Opus Award. She was also artistic director of the Ensemble vocal d’Outremont for 15 years, a journey where creativity, teaching and performance blended into a veritable polyphonic passion. She continues her career as an educator through her teaching of singing.
